First day at pax and I've gotten a few pins

Any #squash growers know why this might be happening to my butternuts? The leafs close to the original planting spots are yellowing. I've tried keeping it watered, and I've tried letting it go dry for a week or so. I've also used fish emulation twice this summer on these plants. I did use a hugelkultur method on this bed, where the bottom 1/3 of the planting medium was pine tree arborist chips from a tree I had removed. I don't know if that is causing the problem, or something else. #garden
