Archaeology, cricket, forteana, pretentiously hip games and music, hiking, climbing, workaday tech and romanticism are my jams

Is it time that we started fat-shaming unnecessarily large cars? Because it's ludicrous for this trend to continue - quite apart from the dangers, what a waste of materials, space and energy!

@owenblacker That would be my guess as to what's happened, someone in Welsh government has clicked something up somewhere. Not for the first time...
@owenblacker Like from a business point of view, it's insane. How many people have got subscriptions just to learn Welsh. Thousands probably
@owenblacker I literally cannot understand this decision. It's one of their most popular courses
@CherylMorgan @sarahpinsker just happy to see a northern hemisphere team in the semis, to be honest. Shame it was Figoing out though
@mrundkvist I'm not sure, to be honest. I like football and archaeology quite a lot. As soon as I mention that I've excavated a local hillfort, I have people from every demographic queuing up to ask questions, offer suggestions, talk about local legends, personal theories and things they've noticed. It matters to people. At least in the UK
@mrundkvist Yes. But you could apply the same thing to art, literature, music, sport, philosophy. These things aren't important, but I'd much rather live in a word with them than without them
@mrundkvist Well then, yes, I completely agree. But most things that make life an enjoyable and interesting experience aren't important
@mrundkvist Not saying I disagree necessarily, but I'd be interested to know what things you think do matter
everybody is talking about websites these days
