Song of the Night - “Stay” by Shakespeare’s Sister. I got my parents to buy the album this song is on called Hormonally Yours. I remember my mom thought the title was inappropriate. I was probably 14. I listened to “Stay” about a million times, and it was in my head tonight. The video was really cool, and the fact that the main member was from Bananarama. Did anyone have one of these as a child? I think you will know what it is if you were born in the 70s or early 80s maybe. They had one for the Wizard of Oz, and it was really creepy to me as a child. The film strip would move up as time went on so the scenes would match the audio. It was like a projector and a record player combined. I resigned from a job recently. It was a bad environment, and I could not stay there for one more day. I was polite about it. I gave 2 weeks’ notice, and I turned in a formal letter of resignation to HR and my boss. I prepared other employees to temporarily take on my duties, and I was nice and hard working for the last 2 weeks. However, I feel like the world views me as a criminal for leaving a job without another one lined up. I get their point, but I still needed to leave. #quit #resign
