@davidho Well, reforestation captures 3.5 to 11 tons Co2 per ha so that's just 90 to 286 ha reforestation projects, which is on the small side actually. Tropical reforestation captures faster. So I'd go for a 500-1000 ha tropical reforestation program, to be on the safe side.
Note that introducing a new Best Practice of burying old wood rather than burning it or letting it rot above ground would also have cumulatively some impact:
