Onyx' relationship with the tribal villages she looks after is mutually beneficial to them.  They get a giant guardian, she gets tiny friends who make her look pretty.  

It's always lovely drawing sunsets and sunrises with my prehistoric cast as the colours really work nicely with their fur.  I'm not sure I've ever drawn anything before with colours quite like this so it's always lovely to experiment.

While it’s still fresh in my mind some thoughts about my
#BLFC experience.

This has been an absolutely amazing experience. This has been my first US con and it shows because there were SO many wonderful friends that I finally got to give a BIG hug!

I can’t overstate how absolutely amazing it was to hug friends like @Remmyzilla @Marchdragon @ShimmeringSpectrum @Alistor @magpi I got so many hugs and that really rejuvenated me.

I used this energy to DRAW. And DRAW I did. Friends have told me that I was on FIRE and I cannot disagree.

I arrived dead tired late at sunday evening after being awake for 27 hours and travelling 22 of those (with 7 hour wait inbetween).

But the next morning I was awake and filled with ENERGY. I proceeded to draw and basically only stopped for food and meeting/hugging friends.

In total I managed to draw 21 pieces of giftart, 19 of which were inked and fully coloured. I’ll see about posting them sometime next week.

Seeing people be SO excited with the pieces of art I have drawn for them was a major reward in and of itself. People were showing it to their friends and talking about it. So many people have said they love my art and a few have said that they have been watching my art for a long time. These compliments really touch and I want to thank all of you so so much. It is wonderful being appreciated like that.

It has gotten me thinking though. If I can draw this consistent and this FAST there might be something to be gained from setting up in a dealers den or something equivalent. I’d need branding and merchandise, but It’s definitely food for thought. Maybe I’ll ask fellow artists for thoughts and tips.

I did get a few fun items from the dealers den/bazaar. Some Certified badges from Marymouse for me and friends. Last years Kaiju theme tshirt, commissions from unregisteredcat nareganoart, a badge from Ishaway. But definately my most treasured item will be a badge from Kacey Miyagami.

@kacey did my very first ever badge at Eurofurence over 15 years ago. I still love it to bits today. But with my trans self getting a new female fursona it felt so fitting and right to have her draw my new fursona and by chance I was able to get it. Thank you so very very much!

I did manage to set time to hang around with friends and even managed to play a boardgame with @Marchdragon @ShimmeringSpectrum and @Alistor . I was close to winning Space Base with a massive sudden surge in points but Shimmer managed to eke out a win, well done!

All good things must come to an end and seeing so many people leave really tore at my heartstrings. I wanna see and hug them all again. But I also wanna see and hug other amazing friends so I do have my eyes on other cons like Texas Furry Fiesta, Midwest Furfest Furry Weekend Atlanta and Vancoufur.

I will fly home early tomorrow at 7AM and arrive in Brussels the next day at 9AM local time. Hope I can actually sleep on the plane this time.

Fang certainly has a way of making her mark!  And if the flatlands weren't flat before, they certainly are now.

It's been a while since I drew a gratuitously obvious paw shot, so I figured one was due much to Onyx, Medulla and Scareye's dismay!
