Oh yeah - and it reminded me of the scene from Malcom in the Middle so....
I just used ChatGPT to successfully convince myself that "If you give a mouse a cookie" is an allegory about Executive Function and not a simple children's book.

Ohhh - so I had a theory and checked again just now.

There was a "new" retweet from 2021 that showed up, after un-retweeting that it's down to 30.

So I'll give it a few weeks and bet the other 29 tweets will show up to be deleted.

sad day for my gaming PC - stepped away at the end of the night of gaming. a no longer booting PC.

came back from the bathroom to shut down the PC and drag my sleepy wife to bed and noticed PC was in BIOs screen. Upon closer inspection my M2 drives are missing. Seems pretty sus for 2 drives to fail at the same exact time without even being close to SMART lifespan.

today we try to heal and be better towards ourselves.
i think I did it right? in theory this should fit into the "Poker hole" style mount holes that is commonly used in DIY keebs. I'm not super confident on the sizes I used since I'm not a real engineer and know tolerances are a thing, but didn't factor for them lol.

figure I should re-post some info about my custom keyboard project from my twitter...so here goes the start of that series of content.

Here's a more recent photo comparing the V1 and V2 PCBs of my #mallard105p custom #keyboard PCB.

for anyone unfamiliar, this is the basic idea of the dimensions of a MX style #keyboard switch, the PCB it sits on, and the switch plate it would use.

there's 5mm between the top of the PCB and the top of the switch plate. the switch plate should be 1.5mm. thus the coupler/standoff/etc needed is 3.5mm tall.
