This morning's #SilentSunday offering is inspired by a picture I've seen this morning.
The picture was of two friends of mine on top of a mountain. I didn't even know they knew each other! I talked to one of them about the trip the night before he went.
It's always good to see friends getting out there and doing something they love. Makes me happy, it does.
So here's to everyone giving it their all, whatever their 'mountain' may be. Keep at it.
My IT Hero
As you may know, I'm a retired journalist, so money is tight.
One of my Dear Readers, who wanted to remain anonymous to you, recognized my plight and contacted me.
An IT wizard, he diligently refurbished & mailed me, at no cost to me, a wonderful laptop I can use to help me grow AURE FREE PRESS and bring you the latest news.
I wanted to share this with you to confirm that kind hearted people still exist in this world.
And for this hero, I will forever be grateful♥️

"In light of the uncertainty around Twitter and out of an abundance of caution, CBS News is pausing its activity on the social media site as it continues to monitor the platform,” Jonathan Vigliotti, CBS News national correspondent, said in a report about the latest chaos at the company on the “CBS Evening News” Friday.
"What I’m finding most satisfying about Mastodon, and I’m seeing a lot of other journalists feel this, is that it actually forces you to ask and confront some of these questions and to make active choices. Even if Mastodon were to remain Twitter’s very tiny stepbrother, I would still like to be part of a Mastodon journalist community because I think we got lazy as a field, and we let Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Dorsey, and, god help us, Elon Musk decide..."
