@beach Kobo isn't bad. Lets you upload ebooks. if you find an old Kobo at a used store or marketplace or something, you can install Koreader on it for some neat features like cloud storage.
@eri Linux Mint itself pretty much comes with everything installed out of the box and has a lot of guides available.

@eri I think one dilemma is also making it 10x more confusing than its gotta be for the average new linux user.

Like. The average person doesn't really need recs for apps that require the terminal. Just throw Linux Mint at them and tell them: "yeah so theres a software shop with all the apps you might need, an update manager you should click on once in a while, and click this to back up your files."

I found out recently some Windows users in their twenties dont even know what drivers are?

@jenalysis Emulation on Linux is also ridiculously good most of the time.
@jenalysis I find that the vast majority of my games work on Linux coming from the perspective of someone who prefers the rpg genre, but I know people who are into fast paced games like FPS and MMOs come across problems like anti-cheat. As far as I know, some gacha games dont work on Linux too, but theyre usually mobile-friendly.
@_daisy Thank you very much, Daisy!
@technotenshi Thank you so much!
Between paying artists next to nothing, hosting Joe Rogan, running racist ICE recruitment ads, to having a techno-fascist founder, I'm done... #BoycottSpotify
