@kauko I've been using 24 hour since I was like 13 and I still convert to 12 hour in my head tbh.
@Liska1337 DE comes down mostly to personal preference for look/feel. Distros are also installed from flash drives with fully functional installs already on them, so you can totally just boot up a distro and play around with it, make sure it works on your computer and feels nice, all without even bothering to install. I'd also suggest keeping a working Windows environment around because anything frustrating will be less frustrating if you can fall back on what you know works.
@Liska1337 My overwhelming advice is just to not worry about it. You'll get 100 different suggestions with little justification beyond "I like it" because it sincerely doesn't matter *that* much. The two most concrete things that are different between distros are package managers (which most people nowadays will encourage you not to use too much because Flatpaks are simple and easy for user-facing apps) and desktop environment (DE). Don't sweat it and you can change your choice if you want.
HUH?? Congratulations to @LawyerDog for getting top 3, but more importantly flashbanging me with cute boys while I was enjoying my funny nerd video?
@dgodon @urbanistorg There was a sharp shift specifically after getting blown out on social housing, so I absolutely do not see it as anything other than trying to recover popularity leading up to the election.
@EUCWolf There's a furry town name pack for OpenTTD that might be exactly what you're looking for!
@kauko I must've flown dozens of times in my life but almost exclusively to like, 3 places.
So many people I know have never flown and it catches me so off guard every time!
@kauko Your queue is rapidly getting longer.
@river Looking up what a plink is and finding many potential answers, none of which seem any likely to be correct.
@seabikeblog The big finance apps I found when I looked were GnuCash, Firefly III, and Actual. I only tried GnuCash so I'm not sure if the other 2 are actually applicable, but it's been aight.
