The world is melting, infrastructure is crumbling, facist regimes are on the rise, continuing education is more expensive than ever, there’s very few jobs that pay enough to even rent an apartment after college, let alone buy a home, and the queerest generation ever is seeing their identities legislated away by an increasingly out of touch oligarchy.

But sure… phones are why teenagers are depressed.

In any large organization, it's a good idea to occasionally ask "What are we even doing here?"

In #InfoSec, for me, that means asking how large chunks of work materially impact the security of the organization. All too often massive projects become self-sustaining, spawning new work that is utterly disconnected from original intent.

Gotta recenter on protecting those you're tasked to protect.

A lot of startups that raised too much money without the revenue multiples to back it up are about to either vaporize, raise a down round, get acquired, or get profitable.

Perhaps part of the mass layoff math was for potential acquirers to make room for the coming bloodbath.

It's going to be an boom year for incredible journey blog posts at least.
