On March 10th, the City of Verona passed a Resolution Resolution in Support of Reauthorization of State Funding for Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program and it's kind of striking how much the program does just in Verona. A really great program.

Me and the kid helped out on a prairie burn today. It was mainly educational for us, but we did our part and prevented the embers from spreading to the wrong fields (as you can see the kid doing in the picture below). It's kind of incredible how hot the fires get.
@ddrake Yeah, it's definitely a response to the political moment. I (along with other elected officials) felt we had to make a statement. The local response has been positive overall, although not entirely positive.
