Hi, I'm Louisa! I'm a 46 year old artist who likes to paint, draw, sculpt, linocut, make miniatures, and work with resin, among other things.
Here I'll mostly be talking about making resin dice, with updates on the process and links to my Ko-fi shop where you can buy them.

This die, and the Underdark version, are now in my shop!
If you're concerned about balance, rest assured that both dice are entirely the same resin, just painted and embellished with tiny additions like imitation moss.

New 40mm liquid die โจ๐ชฉโจ
I wanted to try making magical, fantastical, organic shapes with hot glue, and I like how it came out. An eldritch orb or alien power core, maybe an egg? #dice #dicemaking

I heard about a nail art technique, "dragon skin", where you use a UV polish and cover it with soap foam before curing so it gets the shape of the bubbles fixed into it, then adding a shimmer powder
I have UV resin, so I tried to give an interesting asteroid texture to these blanks, which are filled with pink powder that shimmers gold and green. I used that same powder on top of the black UV resin
I really like it, I hope they look cool once they're in the number shells!
And another! No liquid cores in this set, but it uses a favorite chaotic technique: dripping ink onto the surface of the liquid resin and letting it slowly fall inside as the resin sets
