After diverting onto a different longterm project for a while, I’m still tinkering with the ventriloquist figure. I’ve done some barely perceptible tidy-ups. Gesso, when I get to that stage, will cover a multitude of sins, but it has limits, and it would be better if I could fix a few problems first. Previous owners’ work on this head have introduced problems, one of which is that the nose looks a different shape, depending on whether it’s viewed from the right or left (three-quarter view).
