Many of y'all know @LonelyTex so I'm sharing an update at his family's request.
He was in a car accident today resulting in a spinal injury. The full extent of which and whether it will require surgery may not be known til the weekend.
He's fortunate that his car took the vast majority of the damage, as a reckless driver forced him off the road into a barrier, totaling his car.

@The_Living_Gale Listen, I am disabled and a sole earner and attempting to find housing and have multiple medical issues and family issues and all sorts of other crap going on. I fucking hate what's happening in Gaza but I cannot, for my own personal wellbeing, engage with what is happening. If you cannot understand that there are many other people in that same situation, then you are part of the problem. Telling "the people" they must step up or they are genocidists is abhorrent.

@The_Living_Gale Demanding that people - outside of politicians - speak up about a particular issue or set of issues in the way and time frame that suits you personally is a privileged and short-sighted demand. It does nothing but serve to deter people from genuinely helping where and when they can. And then proceeding to call them genocidists because they didn't reply is absolutely the worst way to get your agenda across. Please consider getting help for yourself if you are at this point.
