If you are a non-US resident bitching about how US citizens need to do more to stand up to political fiasco we are facing, STFU.
You cannot possibly know what US citizens en masse are doing based on your hit-or-miss reports from a very few locations.
I am a few years older. The long-term efficacy of the MMR vaccine i probably received in childhood was later questioned.
So i signed up for another one last autumn. Partly due to the recent explosion of US measles cases and partly out of concern that the current administration might decide to ban the vaccine altogether.
Told the pharmacist i didn't know what MMR i originally received. He said it didn't matter because by this point i would need a booster regardless.
@jetton Any nation that participated in the 1936 Olympics and regretted that choice needs to do some hard thinking right now about "multi-national" games scheduled to be held in the US and who is or isn't welcome to either participate or attend.
Even assuming you manage to get a visa and clear customs, what is going to happen when you show up at a stadium with brown skin and a "foreign" accent?
I don't know, but neither would i take the risk to find out.

Look, if you wouldn't travel to a high-risk area of the world where foreign tourists are likely to be targeted, then don't travel to the US.
The current US administration has made it abundantly clear that you will be targeted financially (in the best scenario) or physically with or without legal justification (in the worst scenario).
The president just took the whole tariff schtick to another level: now it applies to 'foreigners" willing to buy US goods/services inside the US.

This is not some AI failure, nor the fault of some hapless manager.
This was a failure to recognize the potential for cascading error handling.
It's DNS, for sure. If i had a dime for every hour of DNS-related outage i ould be living a whole different life.
The issue is not that bad DNS data got pushed out. That is a recoverable situation.
The issue is that other automated tools were unable to recognize that reversion was actually recovery.
