πŸ‘‹Hi, I'm Aaron, nice to meet you!
πŸ“½οΈ I (sometimes) make videos on the internet that vaguely resemble good content.
πŸ“Έ I also sometimes do little photography experiments.
🐧Of course I run Linux, it's in the name :)
🦣 I wanted to try out Mastodon about 3 years ago, and I ended up here. Never used Birdsite!

Linux is all about freedom
Even if that freedom is the freedom to turn on the hidden β€œWindows mode”
When I say that this video "took a good while to edit," I mean it.
The best part? Kdenlive didn't crash once!

We have 'ads' now!

You don't understand the innovation that is Johnvertisement.
It's the greatest thing since 88x31 GIFs

You will see such fine 'advertisements' as CORN and whatever that other one is.

Linux in a Bit's Projects

Linux in a Bit's Projects: Some personal projects that you may or may not find useful.

Truly the greatest invention of our time.
Backdoors: The ones you find vs. the number that actually exist.

We are *not* on the verge of some kind of magic energy revolution.

The *only* solution for climate change is to use *less energy* on a global and institutional scale.

That means:
1. Ending this enormous rush to melt the planet using "AI".
2. Making reparable, reusable, and long lasting products.
3. Establishing and funding strong public transit networks and pedestrian/bicycle infrastructure.
4. Holding companies accountable for their actions.
5. Not avoiding or hiding from this urgent issue.

If you're ever annoyed that LoRa requires line-of-sight, just remember all you need is a sufficiently large hill or a really long stick.
Though I guess really the only reason I'm saying that is to show off this really cool photo I took from a hill a few days ago, 27 miles (43 km) away from Chicago.
Thanks Amazon, great new feature
You all should think of accessibility for colorblind people (I'm not, but just saying). Try using the "bars with scale" option.
#showyourstripesday (also a bit late, sorry 'bout that)
Me: Can we go to Whataburger?
Mom: No, we have Whataburger at home.
