After I was infected with mumps, measles, rubella, flu, chicken pox, and Covid-19, vaccines were created to prevent or alleviate them. I avoided polio. Before visiting the tropics, I got a Yellow Fever shot. Over the years, I've gotten EVERY vaccine and their boosters recommend by my medical professionals. I will continue to do so 'til the day I die.
