Our local blood bank just sent me a text letting me know the blood I donated last week was just used for a patient having surgery. I love that they do follow up now and let you know when your donation is actually used. It made my Monday.

@antonioserrata Same. I’m by a trauma center and children’s ER. Helicopters every day. I try to actively notice them for a moment, but it’s easy to become immune.

@aleen I've also been surprised lately by how few images acutally have text attached; I actually though I might have turned off a feature of some sort. But I guess as users increase, ongoing reminders are necessary. That's how I was made aware, and I appreciate the folks who did it.
