And years ago early in my Army training, I was taught to “lie, deny, & make counter accusations” when undergoing interrogation. Thankfully, I’ve never been interrogated but it has helped me to recognize similar behavior, particularly in Republican politicians who seem to use the technique routinely, like ALL THE TIME. It’s really something to recognize.
