Reader and writer. My favorite books are Mary Stewart-style Gothics, but I read everything.
@Heliodora LOL! This is why I try never to look at other people's systems. They're pretty, or tempting, or utterly overwhelming. One of these days I'll do a blog post on my messy travelers notebook/bujo/list of all things. The only pretty part is the cover.
@panoramix LOL!! Some I hated too much ever to try again. For example: Moby Dick. But some I think I just wasn't ready for.
@dogandbooks it definitely takes some getting used to!

My school decided that 6th grade was an appropriate age for us to read My Ántonia. As a result, I've never tried to read Cather as an adult because I hated her so much as a kid.

Now I am rereading it all these years later. Beautifully written, though still not my favorite book ever or anything, but worth reading.

Have you ever gone back and read something you hated in school? What did you think?

@MJBookWorm I suspect you're not the only one massively confused. I prefer to be buried in books than learning new social media apps, but it if allows me to talk about books, I'll get it figured out.

What's the most entertaining (not necessarily highest quality, just something you enjoyed) book you've read lately?
