Today we start the inexorable process of reintegrating with the EU. UKCA mark gone, CE mark retained.

We cannot issue CE certification, only the EU. can. So we are powerless to influence legality of products. Presumably Dyson’s MegaWatt vacuum cleaner dream is gone?

Less sovereignty than we had in the EU. Again.

@TheAtlantic when money is the only metric, online wins. When ‘bricks & mortar’ reduce themselves to being purely about cost, they open themselves up to failure. B& M need to rethink their purpose, they are not due any loyalty if they have no personal relationship with their customer.
