Rolling the boulder up the hill is a lot nicer when we work together. But destroying the boulder they created? That's even better.

I don't like to have hot takes.

But I do like to have thoroughly cooked takes and that means sometimes you gotta blow on them a bit before you can eat.

Loving reminder: that store clerk, that cashier, that gas station attendant working today -- they have families, too. So, maybe you're stressed about something you forgot for the big dinner or some family squabble, but don't take it out on them. Be kind. Be considerate.

What it means when people exhort non-White peeps to “start your own instance” or go to another more suitable one—-the digital version of White Flight/segregation.

Earlier today, I was feeling depressed from some cabin fever having not left my home in a while, so I decided to just drive out to find some random place to collect my thoughts.

And honestly? it just made me more depressed.

Why?

There is not a *single* space someone can just ~exist~ without the pressure of purchasing things.

Ultimately, I just went back home and watched Netflix on my phone. All I want is community and to not be contributing to a system that exploits people, but if that's something I'm even able to find, it's certainly not something I found today.
