I probably would be one of them, but I paid for a year subscription last November. Once that’s up, I’m probably dumping it for some other service, at least until House of Dragon and The Last of Us come back.

HBO MAX was my favorite service when it launched. It’s slowly lost good content and added shitty low quality reality shows in their place. It still boggles my mind that a company like Discovery could purchase Warner Brothers.

T-Mobile offer cheaper plans without Netflix. Plans that still have all the unlimited data/calling of the Netflix plan. We pay $100 fir two line with them. If I wanted to go to the cheapest plan with Netflix, it would cost me $120 a month…i.e. it’s cheaper for me to stay on my no Netflix plan and pay for Netflix separately.

Same. Connect is much cleaner in my opinion. Still has some clunkiness and I don’t like that touching the screen on images closes the image, but overall it’s a great start.

It may not include those as the ban was only recently lifted and it takes a while for evictions to work their way through the courts. We may see a lot higher number next year.

Same thing is happening in the streaming services space. David Zaslov came in and started pulling completely finished shows and removing content and generally making HBO Max shittier and instead of going "WTF", all the other streamers took his actions as geniusand are doing the same shit. Now they are all shittier services and we have to decide to either leave or be okay with a worse service.

Facebook has gotten almost unusable lately. I freelance and get a decent number of jobs alerts through various groups I'm a part of, so I have to use it, but it is completely junk now.

I can't use it to keep up with what friends are up to any more, because in between every post from a friend is two ads and three suggestions for you.

I just want to keep up with friends, find work and keep track of events I'm invited or going to. I can't do any of that any more without scrolling through pages and pages of shit.
