In the 1840s Switzerland was plagued by famine & high unemployment. Authorities in one particular Swiss canton (our town of the week's namesake) decided to send some families to Wisconsin seeking refuge & to find a place that resembled their homeland. The immigrants founded this Green County town in 1845.

Cultivating Our Future Farmers, the 3rd Annual Marshall Farm Toy and Craft Show

Held annually the 2nd weekend in December the Marshall Farm Toy Show and Crafts is the culmination of efforts by FFA Alumni and Supporters. All the profits from table sales,admission,food sales, raffle prizes and silent auction items go back to the FFA Alumni which supports the Marshall High school and Middle school FFA for events.
