Maybe there's some financial reason for nickel and dimeing the poor and unfortunate, but right now it seems to me that it's just UHNWIs showing their asses at us and threatening us to do something about it.
In any case, I have 10 dollars in checking right now and if I pull any more from savings then I'm going to get dinged again, so I'm trying to make that work.

"It's not polite to talk about politics."
To be honest, I feel like this sentiment is how we got into this mess. People thought that those of us bringing up Project 2025, Jan 6th, and other "GOP are actually Nazis" talking points were uncouth for it.
And now look what's happening.
So if anyone ever says that it's not polite to talk politics in the future, I'm probably actually going to tell them to take a long walk off a short pier.

I've been saying some variation of this for about 20 years now, and yet for some reason EA is still in business despite having no practices that actually make consumers happy.
At this point I'm wondering if it's laundering money for political special interests.
Listening to Green Gardens from Bomberman 64, and I kind of miss the prevalence shallow premise video games.
Like, Bomberman is literally just on a save the world mission, and I suppose there's a twist ending or two if you 100% complete it. Doesn't explain where he gets the bombs, why they're the most feasible device for stopping the enemy, nothing. Just a focus on level design and playability.
But that besides the track's a bop.
