110 years ago today. Work began to rebuild Eilean Donan Castle on 23 August 1913. It had stood as a ruin since being bombarded by Royal Navy frigates while occupied by Spanish marines during the very brief 1719 Jacobite uprising. Anruf vom Supermarkt. Eine meiner Tanten aus Ecuador ist per Bio-Bananenkiste eingetrudelt. Sie mag Europa, ist aber ein bisschen tüddelig. Sie steigt oft nicht rechtzeitig aus und wird dann entdeckt.

Früher haben die Verkäuferinnen und Verkäufer die Feuerwehr gerufen. Inzwischen wissen wie, was los ist, geben ihr einen Mückoccino und rufen mich an. Fragt nicht.
