I could either go to a new years party where I don't know 90% (I hate the initial talking-to-new-ppl phase but they seem cool), or go to a party where I like 30%, but dislike 60% of them.

@bignuts700 they have like rubber beds under them yea.
Now that you mentioned it, it is weird: they feel really clicky and not membrane-like at all I never though about it...
@aks I need to write something atm and I'm meeting with a friend every day for it. This really helps me rn. Really doesn't help if your social battery is empty i.e. after work tbf 
@aylamz @halva yea same here. There are like a couple good points (why is the hot corner on the top left, but the dock on the bottom) but honestly once you get used to the keyboard shortcuts (or change them to something you like) it's smooth sailing. Honestly I get SUPER confused whenever I see gnome "hate".
I think gnome is really nice and just get's out of your way!
@Soblow interesting.. I wonder why. I even switched out the ruby bearings for ceramic ones because that's supposed to help but it didn't for me

Maybe they don't need the precision and like the layout - which IS really cool. If you get a chance to ask them please let me know what they did 
@Soblow make sure not to get the elecom huge.
I bought it because the layout seemed nice - and it's amazing! But the sticktion is TERRIBLE. It's just a really big pain if you need to be precise. Even getting the cursor to the correct character is just aaaaaah
