l'm currently a Project Manager/Product Manager. I've been working in IT for over 20 years. Politically I'm left, more progressive than anything. Consenting adults should be able to do what they want without interference from the government. Corporations were started for the public good, but have lost their way in "only profits matter".
one thing not mentioned is it would also make it harder for someone to win the presidency without also winning the popular vote. . . https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnbc-opinion/house-congress-expansion-committee-gluesenkamp-perez-golden-rcna180811

@AnOldGuy Roughly 20m fewer people casts ballots in this election then in 2020. Trump got even fewer votes than last time, but for the first time actually won the popular vote (first Republican this century to do so).

"What the Polls Are Really Saying...

“This is a race where Trump was plus 4. Now she’s plus two. That’s dramatic movement. She’s reset this race to what we’ve seen from the past two presidentials, where it’s a dead-even race.
…I think that the difference that we see is that for the first time, the enthusiasm or motivation level for the Harris voter is now actually a little higher than that of the Trump voter, which again, tells me she moved young people double digits, African Americans double digits, Latinos double digits. She’s moved women and again, independent-leaning Democrats a good amount as well. This is about changing the math of the electorate.”

@earlofkent @uspolitics We wouldn't be in the mess we are if both parties hadn't been pushing a duopoly in politics for decades. We have got to make voting a right eliminate gerrymandering and otherwise expand access to politics to everyone so we don't ever again have a couple of elections get us to where we are today where it's vore for the Democrats or possibly never vote again.
Harris misses the mark in saying Trump intends Medicare cuts

On the campaign trail, both President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have painted former President Donald Tr

@politifact
Check out Politfact coverage for Kamala Harris statement that Trump is planning on cutting Medicare. Even though every budget he submitted as president included cuts (though they were never enacted) and the project 2025 plan calls for cuts, they rated her statement as false.
