@Gracchus originally, Diggle only sang one or two songs. Most of the lead vocals were done by Pete Shelley, who passed away a few years back. Modern English was the support. They were OK. We are glad we went, Buzzcocks are Buzzcocks *shrug* and you never know when seeing them will never be an option. Give me a Cosmic Psychos gig any day. A Psychos crowd is better behaved too!
@Gracchus OK. Diggle had trouble singing most of the songs (needs to change the key), which was distracting. We didn't enjoy it as much as we expected/hoped.
How embarrassment. There was a brawl at the Buzzcocks gig I was at last night. Poor form, Castlemaine. Why couldn't you have gone up on stage naked and danced, like the Painters and Dockers gig.
@earthmothering9 I love BooBooks. Such a beautiful call.
*sigh* Five people this week have asked when I was going to start working as a 'real' social worker. Not all social workers have a job description that matches their profession. Project manager/worker, case manager councillor, policy/advocacy worker, manager, academic, youth worker etc.
The third time this week I have gone to bed at 7am, fallen asleep straight away, and woke up 2 hours later, wide awake. This is why I can't work full-time. Here's hoping the seizures stay at bay until the Seniors Festival is over.

Tomorrow is my BIG day. 150+ punters, 20 stalls, people wrangling, making sure our speaker and entertainment are where they should be. Followed by falling in a heap.

This time last year, a patient at my placement gave me an iris from her garden that was grown by her mother during the depression. I have it in a pot, for not. With the plan to put it in the garden at some point. It was really dried out, and I thought it would be a couple of years before I saw a flower. But, no a flower is in its way.
Today is my only day off from Seniors Festival events this week, so of course I have a handyman coming to fix some Hamish related damage, and a cupboard to clean out to to an ongoing leaking tap from the dishwasher. It speeds up and slows down with no rhyme or reason, and it flooded last night. Grrrrrrr! I wish I was sitting on my arse watching TV or arting, and more than anything, not people-ing.
I finally have my long planned dwarf lemon. <3
