This time last year, a patient at my placement gave me an iris from her garden that was grown by her mother during the depression. I have it in a pot, for not. With the plan to put it in the garden at some point. It was really dried out, and I thought it would be a couple of years before I saw a flower. But, no a flower is in its way.
This is what happens when you design a month long community event. Your calendar gets pretty full.
Hamish's overactive thyroid is now sluggish. Medication adjustment here we come! Here is a pic of Hamish, super-stoned, before I took him to have blood tests.

Today, I got cracking on my Aust native bird series mosaics.
This was Hamish this evening while I was watching TV. That is watching TV in between butterfly kisses from a kitteh.
Both of my pieces from the dragonfly series are ready to grout, which I won't get to for a couple of weeks. Next up, the Aust native bird series.
Today is my mosaic day! I am off to Com House to co tinue with my current pie e in the dragonfly series.
It has been a weekend of cuddles here in Castlemaine.
I am at the "have mango salsa with every meal" phase of having half a box of mangos. I am thankful that I went for half a box this year. I love 'em, but it can get a bit much.
