I did not know that he was the one to convince the military to use New Mexico, but I think it’s really interesting that New Mexico got to be a part of such a big thing.

I think textbook discrimination is such a sad thing. I just recently learned that Texas does this a lot and it’s very sad that kids aren’t learning as much as they should be because textbooks are being changed.

I read a book about this in my US history class. I knew that they went through Santa Fe But I didn’t know that it was a big part of it.

I think that it is sad that schools did not integrate their schools because of how much money it would take to bring everything up to compliance

I think it’s really interesting. That schools like Clovis Artesia Roswell and Las Cruces kept the segregated elementary and middle school and there was no policy just to change that till later on.
