@phranck that’s a good candidate, although you can try with probably better looking quality with ASA (ABS like) you can get great finish quality with this material. Maybe even try ABS although ASA has the benefits without the issues.

Nylon is great for mechanical parts, it’s strong and wear resistance. They’re is also an ESD safe option for electronic components in PA available from 3DXTech https://www.3dxtech.com/product/3dxstat-esd-pa12/

CarbonX™ PA12+CF is made using a specialty Nylon 12 [PA12] and high-modulus carbon fiber. This material offers an excellent combination of performance and printability. PA12 absorbs much less moisture than PA6-based materials and has superior retention of mechanical properties after exposure to humid environments.

@phranck I’ve tried Prusament PA11 CF and 3DXTEC PA6 … printed like PLA! Just dry it well before! I liked the PA11 finished better.
@phranck I’ve been surprised on how good it prints Nylon, ABS and high temp materials. It’s truly amazing.
@apenguininspace awesome find! Thanks for sharing!
@apenguininspace thanks for this. You should also start a custom filament profiles for the studio!
