    But still some people might find a microlabel more appropriate/descriptive than general ones because of the connotations they carry. Trying to assert that they are bi, if they refuse the label adamantly, may not be helpful in the long run.

    Unpopular opinion - yes, he might not be completely straight, but it is possible that he’s not completely gay/bi either. Some people define their attraction based on the gender presentation of the people they are attracted to. Being attracted to feminine / masculine individuals as opposed to women / men is far more common. Also fights bioessentialist narratives of gender tbh.
