I don't always contribute to open source projects, but when I do...
I think I finally broke the onslaught of spam email sign-ups that hit hard starting in January. Created all new sign-up forms and enabled captcha across the board.

Spent Saturday at the Rolex 24 in Daytona, but had some time to kill before my flight on Sunday so I randomly stopped by the Lake Monroe Amateur Radio Society (N4EH) Winter Field Day.

Very welcoming group! They had a nice sat setup and were sharing the field with an airsoft league. About half a dozen members of the radio club from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (KO4MIM) were also there operating.

ARDC announced wide availability of the 44Net VPN service today. Took less than 5 minutes to set up and get connected.

So what's out there that is only accessible via VPN?

Working on a much needed refresh of hamweekly.com

The Nashville club was mentioned in the ARRL Club email newsletter.

(Pro tip: If you send ARRL a decent write-up, they'll publish it.)

Attaching a screenshot of the article since ARRL no longer publishes these emails to the website.

Listening to a FreeDV RADEV1 QSO (which sounds incredible). Sad hams on analog keep trying to break in and tell them to move to the data portion of the 20m band.

Discovered the QuadNet Network (DMR, DSTAR, M17, etc.) today. Will W4WWM was saying they helped stand up Brandmeister in Europe back in the day. TIL #huntsville
