#formula1 disgustingly showing close ups of a driver who retired due to exhaustion. Brilliant Television... Not.
@askfedi_de kann man in #mastodon eigentlich auch multi-language posts einstellen? Ich müsste hier ständig zwischen englisch und deutsch wechseln XD
Anyone got any recommendations for what to do with my root server? Running on CentOS7 and I'm just about sick and tired of always having to setup everything again when support runs out, major updates break old stuff, etc. Are there any FOSS managed systems that just... you know... work? I run mail, a few php wordpress instances and minecraft.
@[email protected] and double hilarious for being pro free speech and then also being such a delicate flower you can't handle any critical thought at all :D
@[email protected] hilarious. Well, I can guarantee you that #nostr does not solve anything. It's a badly written protocol with severe vulnerabilities and an anti-security ethos. If you use it both your data and your identity are in danger.
Note: If you don't understand #pgp or #gpg or #publickeycrypto in general, that is not a problem. Those are gnarly and highly technical topics. At the same time this lack of understanding does NOT qualify you to release your own standard like #nostr did. It's frankly ridiculous that this kind of open rejection of factual reality gained any traction at all... Security is not a new thing. And #nostr is failing in ways we knew to avoid last century.
#nostr "It doesn't rely on any trusted central server, hence it is resilient; it is based on cryptographic keys and signatures, so it is tamperproof; it does not rely on P2P techniques, and therefore it works." I have rarely seen so much bullshit in so little words.
