STOP BUILDING DATA CENTERS IN FUCKING DESERTS
One thing I don't understand about America: a friend angrily told me last night that we have no laws or justice whatsoever because the rich do whatever they want. Oh, and there's nothing good in the U.S. and we should burn society down. I tried explaining there's always a negotiation between the powerful and laws designed to promote equity, history has usually been far worse, and that the situation can improve but certainty can't if you burn it down. He couldn't get it. He's a prof.
Dexter Resurrection S1 was good fun. Amazing cast. Knows what it is and has fun with it. Enjoyable watch. Looking forward to S2.

It's cool seeing the Rock Lords reboot, even if it had to be titled Project Hail Mary.
John Bernthal has to be the worst actor in a generation. The great thing about his performances is he gives his co-stars, like lamps and chairs, real time to shine. I've seen more convincing portraits of tough guys by people playing dead bodies. He might look buff, but by the clichéd way he overacts, you're instantly certain any random librarian could beat the shit out of him.

Did meal prep. Bean sprouts, Thai red peppers, green peppers, Serrano peppers, bok choi, and fake chorizo, all cut and uncooked. Easy. Also, onions, the one thing I cooked (in avacado oil). Bed of black rice from my rice maker. Instead of a sauce, a bit of tamari, pinch of black bean paste, bit of Yondu, chilli crisp oil, garlic powder, and minced garlic.

Tastes fucking amazing. Minimal processed stuff. Vegan. Made enough in an hour for a week of my dinners.

For four months, we've run new comics and prose every weekday on the Martian Lit Patreon. It's been a herculean effort, but one I'm really proud of. Thank you to our patrons, and consider joining if you have the means.

Boys S5E1 is fucking great. Better than most superhero movies. I'm sure the rest of the season will have some lows, but that's how you fucking start a season! So many shows promise high stakes only to back off.
