So I had a totally normal midlife moment a couple months ago and imported my favorite dance game Pump It Up from a seller in South Korea. So I guess expect my takes on why a remix of Mozart lacks chill on a certain difficulty in the future.

The song is Dr. M. The 7 difficulty stepchart lacks chill for 5 seconds.

I see this happening so often and wonder the same. It's like people have looped all the way back around to how people were designing "cool" websites in the early 2000's. I guess maybe it's novel again because screens are getting pretty good at creating black on screen, but I do not like it.

@Packbat I'll go on a limb and assume we'll get plenty of media depicting the thing after we get past the "it's too soon" threshold. Probably in another couple years.

I got some "adult freeze pops". I haven't had one of these things since I was a kid and the alcohol in there is a nice plus. Observations:

  • Dang wrapper WILL mess the corners of your mouth up.
  • No matter how careful you are, things will get a little sticky.
  • The inside of my mouth is now neon green and that's pretty cool.

@Johannab On a long enough timeline I'm sure that'll become an actual thing. Right after they incorporate communion wafers with rebel symbols on them to make it a bit more fun.

I'm so bad at being social on the social media. Sometimes I just don't even log on for a few days and while on the one hand that's probably a good way to live a life, I do feel that I'm missing out on stuff / being negligent.
