So ...let's face it. A LOT of folks in tech circles are somewhat amazed a fully #blind person can even find the power button on a computer, let alone operate it professionally. I am such a person, and I'd like to bust that myth.
It's also true that many #hacking tools, platforms, courses etc. could use some help in the #accessibility department. It's a neverending vicious circle.
Enter my new twitch channel, IC_null. On this channel, I will be streaming #programming and #hacking content including THM, HTB and who knows what else, from the perspective of a #screenReader user.
What I need, is an audience. If this is something you reckon you or anybody you know might be interested in, drop the channel a follow or share this post. Gimme that #infoSec Mastodon sense of comradery and help me out to make this idea an actual thing :) https://twitch.tv/ic_null #tryHackMe #streamer #selfPromo

@robini71 @Mendi_Tech I am setting up an alias, so it actually works both ways.
@Bruce_Toews That works too. Marvellous what they can do
@matt I'm not going to tell you! Oh, OK then, Since it’s you. I suppose I will. … It is toot.io
OK Mastodon mates, just to let you know that soon I am moving this account to my own instance. I am grateful to the admins and owners of this one and have no complaints at all. It has just been on my list of things to do to make my own instance with a domain that reflects me and my personality. I’m super thrilled with the domain I have chosen for myself.
I wasn’t prepared to do it if I was left with 500 characters though. I mean dude! How can I do the usual Mosen waffle with only 500 characters? It would be untenable! , but now I’ve found a host that will set my character limit to what ever I like. Oh boy! Watch out world.
If I follow you now, you’ll just be advised that I’m following you from the new thing, once I do the move thing, a bit later today.
Bye.
@dotsonapage Yes and it’s a hell of an iconic brand.
#ICYMI, next hour we're bringing you a replay of The Mosen Explosion with Jonathan Mosen. Even though it's a replay, you're still very welcome to toot on Mastodon using the #MushroomFm hashtag.
This was well done and some of it gave me goose bumps. Especially the song they ended with. Good choice. The final 15 minutes of WCBS. https://youtube.com/watch?v=qw2QbsAtsq8&si=CsBPQZ2alzjDqWBs

@DavidGoldfield I dunno. Those American news stations are quite superficial. They seem usually to operate on a 20 minute clock. I can see AI making this format much easier to produce. The algorithm can pick the stories, parse them for good broadcasting copy, and put them in a queue to be read by AI using good news voices that have been licensed. You would have live talent on a retainer for big stories that require intensive coverage.
Helpful, succinct summary here. Good on you, @tayarndt Comparing Meta AI, Be My AI, and Access AI – iAccessibility https://iaccessibility.net/comparing-meta-ai-be-my-ai-and-access-ai/
