Years ago (25, in fact) I used to write for a website called NeoTokyo. The internet was still dial-up, and many UK homes didn’t have the internet at all. But that’s beside the point.
I used to review Japanese music, often thrash metal or techno, neither of which floated my boat, though there was a band called the Gerogerigege who appealed. That’s also beside the point.
One highlight was getting this book to review. It remains one of my favourites. Seasonal, simple, short, but lovely.
Progress update:
Christmas Cake made (if a little charred…)
Wrote more novel
Raked and bagged leaves in front garden (and back)
Wrote blurb for The Book of BOB
Beaten 76 yr old aunt-in-law at Words With Friends (she’s 78, but what’s a couple of years, eh?)
Drunk tea
Only Daisy Hill lost, and that was 2-1 away on the dark side of the Pennines
I should make a plan more often 🎉
