Cait the Proud Trans Woman@futurebird Indeed the problems faced by marginalized people are usually dismissed by the privileged as "just politics" or worse, "just culture wars", like they don't have real effects on real people's lives. So a "no politics" rule might as well be a "no talking about your marginalization" rule.
RoThe rage I've seen in the last two days from white men concerning how I choose to deal with racism and harassment has by far exceed any rage I've ever seen them express about racism and harassment itself.
And this is from people that identify with being allegedly left-leaning allies.
