ChatGPT 3 vs. 4 on who I am. I'd call 4 a lot more accurate in that it's more specific. Version 3 turned me being a member of NAHJ in order to support the organization into me being highly active. Version 4 gets the nuances of my teaching and research better, but whiffs on what I got my PhD in at Mizzou. Including a last shot from GPT 3 though, which concocted a fake publication for me (which my CV appreciates!).

Ran into this on the bird site today and it is so, so stupid. Account security is now a pay-for if you want it to be easy.

(And you want to make it easy if you want to have the trust made possible by a secure network)

I have never used text 2FA, but you want to give multiple ways to do it because people using 2FA is good for the platform. What’ll happen instead is people won’t set it up because using a 3rd party app is a bit tougher for newbies than text messaging.

New Twitter policy bans links out to several social sites. Deeper into the actual policy, also bans on link aggregators. It’s stupid on its face, but it also kills what makes the site go. These people are so inept.
