I get a white powdery substance on the canner. What is that? I figured it was from hard water but I put in vinegar and the jars don't get cloudy.

Found one of these at a thrifstore for $1. Built like a tank and works wonders on toothpaste and lotion tubes.

Don't think I'd buy one at normal price unless I had some expensive things in tubes, but at normal use in our house I think it would pay for itself at normal price in about 3 years.

I'm thinking at $1 the one I bought already paid for itself.

Wife's $21 Goodwill find. I was originally a bit miffed my wife would spend more money on office chairs as we have 3 good ones. But this one is like new and after looking it up, I have to give her a pass.
