@Nixedpun @nopunincluded Rick's son used to live next door to some good friends of ours. We met him and his partner a few times - they were both lovely, and were keen to get together for a night of board games at some point.

Just saying, I wonder if he knows this exists... 😅

@semicoop I commented on a thread about insulin pumps the other day, saying my mum had trialed them in the 80s.
"Your mum??" replied a commenter. "How old is she??"
"...nearly 70?" I replied.
"But you said the 80s."
"I did, yeah...?"
"No one who was around in the 80s would be under 70 now."

I mean obviously maths wasn't their strong suit, but all the same, the fact that this didn't sound implausible to them... I just started crumbling to dust on the spot. Seemed like the appropriate response.

@UnMech I'm coming back to this. I don't think I gave it enough credit before.

I am BAFFLED at the fact that this has been put together by an AI.

Well, Darktide is rather good fun!
@UnMech Crikey. The machines know too much! 🤣
@tscmacdonald Oh, amazing! I remember those well, I grew up on them. (As it happens, I'm planning to put one in the skirmish game I'm designing at the minute, towards the start of the rulebook - just a single round, to give people a flavour of how the game plays.)

Ugh, this feels increasingly like I'm tooting my own trumpet, and I hate that. But also, people often ask me what I've worked on, so it's nice to have a place to point them at.

Thankfully, my rampant impostor syndrome always does a great job of keeping my ego in check! At least, I *think* it does...

And finally (for now!) it was recently announced that I'm designing Fallout Factions: Nuka-World, a skirmish-level miniatures wargame for Modiphius.

Oh, and Blitz Bowl, which I did after I left Games Workshop but which was published by them.

And several others that are still under wraps, because the last couple of years have been interesting in board game publishing world!

If anyone's interested, here's some stuff I've worked on:

Games Workshop: several codex / battletome / supplement books, Warhammer Quest Silver Tower, Betrayal at Calth, Gorechosen, Blood Bowl 2016, Necromunda 2017, Titanicus 2018

Mantic Games: DreadBall, League of Infamy, Hellboy the Board Game

Steamforged Games: Devil May Cry: the Bloody Palace

Needy Cat Games: Steel Colosseum, Vampires Suck at Shopping, Foul Denizens (those last two are on itch - check the linktree in my profile!)
