@vriphish76 it’s a top 5 Goose song for me. 100% agree. And then they neuter it for another Give It Time instead of taking it for a little spin? Not cool. I like Borne early in set 1 where it can stretch its legs and set a tone. Very up and down 1st set. Glad to see AIN getting a ride though.

@chopaganda well written and mirrors many of the thoughts in my head. Of course the masses react with joy at Jeff’s melodramatic and obviously-not-legally-scrutinized response while criticizing the band’s impersonal and obviously-legally-scrutinized (if not literally authored) announcement. If the details of what he did come out, something tells me it’s going to be obvious that the band had no choice but to quickly sever ties.

This sucks, but music cures all and tour can’t come soon enough.

@vriphish76 that’s a set 2 disguised as a set 1. It ruled. More of the same please. So much on the table too. Thatch opener would do just fine.
Man, listening to this #goose show and watching USA/Canada is peak Saturday night home entertainment for me. 3 fights in the opening 9 seconds is some epic shit. Killer Goose set too. Giddyup!
@chopaganda you’re definitely on par with Milwaukee through 2 nights, and perhaps even a little bit ahead. Nothing else on tour can compete with Milwaukee N3 IMO, so that’s what I’m hoping you get tonight. Can’t wait to listen! Have a fuckin blast. Go #goose go.
@clifff now this is a list I can handle! My 8 in chronological order:
4/8 (Cap 2)
6/11 (KC)
6/29 (Forest Hills)
9/7 (SPAC 2)
11/8 (Cincy 1)
11/9 (Cincy 2)
11/10 (Cincy 3)
12/14 (Goosemas 2)
Shout out to #goose and the community for these last 3 nights in Cincy. After last week (election), which legit broke my heart, I needed these shows more than I could have imagined. And wow did they deliver. I LOVED all 3 shows. Each one was special, and in different ways. They just added up to a perfect weekend of music and fun and escaping the shitty reality that I must now get back to. These shows are going to propel me forward, and you can’t beat that! Food for the soul, thank you Goose!
@vriphish76 bold call for sure. I’m not sad they’re giving this to Pitt and not Cincy. But, it’s set 1 and not going to destroy too many minutes of the show. If it was mid set 2 then I’d probably slit my own throat. Signed, someone who has seen 2 danger zones in 10 shows.
@nkLottery totally get this stance, but if a Halloween tune feels like it can become something special with exploration then I’m all for them putting it into the rotation. Maniac doesn’t meet the criteria IMO but Running Up That Hill sure as fuck does. I’d absolutely love to hear that in Cincy.

@chopaganda “plays something from ghosts of the forest” cracked me up.

Think it’s more likely that Goose quickly learns a tune than Phish does, but I’m hoping both do. RIP Phil, I’m so overwhelmingly bummed!
