The new album features music recorded entirely too late at night, played live on a bizarre Russian analog synthesizer I bought from a friend after a porch pirate left him in the lurch.

These video snippets don't seem to post with sound on Instagram, which isn't great - but that means Mastodon gets the exclusive I suppose.

The whole thing is fuzzed out and dreamy. Mostly nice dreams I think. Limiting myself to one electronic instrument, I was pleasantly surprised at the range of feelings I could wring out of it. Hopefully some folks will find it to be nice to play loudly in headphones or on speakers as they relax - or as they find focus on work.

It's probably not music to fall asleep to, though.
