@runasand I prefer using ten or so ec2 or digital ocean droplets with a private network and nfs server. Then I use masscan but divide the work using the shard feature. It work pretty well but I’m not doing it long term. Usually trying to find a specific port. Scanning single port at a time I find is the way to go.
@dnsprincess I haven’t gone wardriving in a very long time but I’ve just set up a raspberry pi 4 with Kali, a usb gps, and a really nice dual band wifi device. It’s got a nice touch screen display and twelve volt power from my car. Going to give it a test run soon.
@alyssam_infosec it’s crazy. It would be so easy to attack the grid in this way. A few well placed attacks and whole cities could lose power. I used to live near a substation and there was never anyone around and I never saw cameras anywhere.
