Fatah boasts about the resistance, saying ‘We lead the field, we and we’—that’s the extent of Fatah’s role in the popular resistance, according to their Eighth Congress.
Twenty-one activists, twelve of whom have no connection to grassroots work, were simply added to the list.
Of course, there is no popular resistance in Hebron, because in Hebron, popular resistance is seen as a provocation to the settlers.
Why has the Palestinian Presidency not issued a statement condemning the brutal attack on one of our sisters, the nuns in Jerusalem, and why has it not released the video of the extremist settler who assaulted a French nun and her researcher in Jerusalem? And why has no directive been issued to all Palestinian consulates and missions to circulate the video and address communities regarding the attacks on both Christians and Muslims in Jerusalem, Hebron, the West Bank and Gaza?

The occupation has released the Mayor of Hebron, Brother Tayseer Abu Sneineh.
This follows eight months of administrative detention without trial.
We wish him well. We hope that all detainees will be released and reunited with their families soon.
