From what I've heard about Fujimoto, this is absolutely in keeping with his behavior. I still wouldn't read Chainsaw Man for it, but I would salute an artist committed to the bit.
Glad to hear people are reading my writing even as I've been neglecting sharing it around. :) Re: "is the academic queer = resistance definition a strawman," I think it might be (no academic I'm aware of has *genuinely* argued far-right politics are a form of queer narrative), but I also think it serves a useful function regardless by requiring people be more honest about what they *actually* mean when they say "queer."
