The mail in vote is a first and recent as of COVID etc.
They use machines with a curtain, you need to register in your locality and they have a list.
You appear and offer your ID as proof of who you are, you enter the machine close the curtain and cast your votes.
This is proof.

Yes but there are holes in that process, USA system is the right way, they witness and count in person votes.
The problem is the failings of the State, etc.

Think about it though, that is one loophole.
USA demands one man one vote.
Any mail in vote plan will fail as such. There are other exploits too.
The law in USA does not allow it.
And you can not ensure one man one vote.
