Is the United States of America over?
With the stark division between left/right (Democrats/Republicans, progressives/conservatives, whatever you want to call it) is the “United” States over? I might be pessimistic, but it seems that the disconnect between the citizens is too great to fix. I don’t think I’m alone in thinking this, but what are other opinions?
[Speculative] What will the Dems do with a future win?
Assumption: There is another federal US election. Assumption: That election is legitimate. Assumption: The Democrats win that legitimate US election. So with those assumptions in mind, what do you think that the Democrats would do with their new-found power? Just repeal any/all executive orders and legislation that got passed during Trump’s reign of weirdness (the sledgehammer approach)? Identify and reverse the worst specific transgressions of the current administration (the scalpel approach)? Keep everything because it benefits their corporate “sponsors” but act all righteous? Something else? And what would happen with the Schutzstaffel Immigration department, DOGE etc?
